PlantSnap

PlantSnap is an app for identifying plants simply by using your Android smartphone's camera. All you have to do is take a photo of the plant in question, in focus and in frame. Then, in just a few seconds, the app will tell you exactly what plant it is.

Although PlantSnap is designed to identify plants from photos you take in that moment, you can also use photos from your gallery. In this case, crop the photo in the app itself to focus on the plant you want to identify.

PlantSnap also lets you search for plants with a built-in search feature. All you have to do is enter the name of the plant you want to learn more about, and in just a few seconds, you can look at photos of it and read more information.
